Description
Lonicera harae, the raspberry honeysuckle, originated from Japan. It is a very interesting hardy deciduous shrub well suited to areas that don’t get a lot of sun. The leaves are vibrant green with a blue tinge; fine silver hairs cover the leaves and stems. Aromatic white flowers form in the spring followed by bright red love-heart shaped edible berries, which can be eaten straight from the plant!
