Description
Ribes nigrum ‘Big Ben’, this cultivar of blackcurrant is a staff favourite here in the garden. It is a very high cropper and produces swathes of large, deliciously sweet fruits that can be picked and eaten straight from the bush. Flowers form from April to June and the fruits will ripen from July through to August. This cultivar is especially resistant to mildew.
- Hardy.
- Plant sold in a 3 litre pot.
All plants grown naturally in a chemical free environment in peat-free compost.

- Full sun – will tolerate partial shade but this will reduce crop yield.
- Likes moist but well draining soil.
