Description

Salvia muelleri, from North East Mexico comes the extremely beautiful and useful suckering subshrub. Tiny dark green extremely aromatic leaves give way to stems of deep velvet flowers over a very long period. A superb species for pollinators and one we use as a companion plant in our rose bed to ward off aphids.

  • Height: 40cm.
  • Spread: Indefinite.
  • Flowers:  May - November.
  • Hardy perennial.
  • Plant sold in a 2 litre pot.

All plants grown naturally in a chemical free environment in peat-free compost.

  • Prune back to newly emerging shoots in spring.
