Description

Salvia 'Nachtvlinder', this is a beautiful Mexican Salvia, producing masses of deep purple flowers above extremely aromatic tiny lanceolate green leaves. Commonly known as Night Moth, this Salvia is a magnet for pollinators, As well as being a great companion plant to protect from aphids. Extremely drought tolerant and long flowering.

  • Flowers: May - October/November.
  • Hardy perennial.
  • Plant sold in a 2 litre pot.

  • Well draining soil.
  • Cut back old woody growth in the spring to visible new growth emerging.
  • This salvia tends to layer root and succer up, these can be divided and propagated easily to produce new plants.
