Description

Salvia sagitatta, a very rare and intriguing species from northern Chile and Peru. 13cm long arrow-shaped leaves which set it apart from other salvias. These leaves are set off magnificently by numerous strong stems of brilliant blue flowers.

  • Height & spread: 1m.
  • Flowers: July - October.
  • Tender perennial.
  • Plant sold in a 2 Litre pot.

  • Tender plant, must be overwintered in a frost free environment.
  • Full sun.
  • Well draining soil.
  • This salvia has a tendency to layer root, which can be divided and propagated into new plants!
  • May require extra watering during very dry summers.
