Description

Salvia semiatrata, a truly spectacular species from the mountainous pine forests of Mexico. Small leaves with a rough texture covered in soft tiny hairs give way to strong racemes of two-toned lilac and purple flowers that emerge from dusty pink calyces.

  • Height: 80cm.
  • Spread: 60cm.
  • Flowers: July/August - December
  • Tender perennial.
  • Plant sold in a 2 litre pot. 

All plants grown naturally in a chemical free environment in peat-free compost.

Planting & Care Guide

  • Tender plant, must be moved to a frost free environment to overwinter.
  • Full sun.
  • Well draining soil.
  • Ideally kept above 5 degrees with plenty of light and ventilation, a bit tricky but well worth it!
