Description

Salvia tubiflora, a very dought tolerant ground-covering species from northern Chile and Western Peru. Soft delicate, light green foliage gives way to masses of orange/scarlet tubular flowers over a very long period. An excellent ground for the front of a border or growing in a container where it will flop over the sides.

  • Height: 40cm.
  • Spread: 1m+.
  • Flowers: July - October/November
  • Tender perennial.
  • Plant sold in a 2 litre pot.

  • Mulch mid-autumn or lift and move to overwinter in a frost free environment.
