Part-Time Pizza Chef

Location: Careys Secret Garden, Wareham, Dorset, BH20 7PG

Start Date: Immediate

Hours: Initial Contract 5pm - 9pm Friday and Saturday evenings in November and December. All new team members join us on a probationary period of three months.

Are you passionate about creating a friendly and welcoming environment, and delivering excellent customer service?

We are seeking an experience Pizza Chef to host pizza-making experiences for guests this Christmas in the Outdoor Kitchen. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of a special environment where nature, sustainability and regeneration meet hospitality.

Provide exceptional customer service to guests within the idyllic surroundings of our walled garden attraction in Wareham.

Use your pizza-cooking skills to craft delicious pizzas demonstrating how it’s done before supporting guests to make their own creations.

Maintain a clean and welcoming environment, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.

Collaborate with the team to create a positive and memorable experience for all guests. Communicate with guests about the gardens, focusing on the ethos behind the project around sustainability and regeneration.

Pizza making experience, ideally using a wood-fired pizza oven.

A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work alone and part of a team. Experience of working events and a genuine interest in nature, the environment and sustainable practices is preferred.
