These sessions run from 9am - 10.15am each Saturday morning.
Join Sonja Lockyer for 75 minutes of yoga that invites you to slow down, to listen to the sensations within your body and to breathe & move in a way that deeply nourishes you.
By allowing space for your yoga practice to be guided by the intelligence of your body, you can begin to cultivate an embodied approach to yoga that will be both grounded in tradition and fluidly intuitive.
“To practice yoga amongst the trees accompanied by nothing more than the songs of birds and a gentle yoga community, offers a truly restorative experience that will bring nourishment deep to your bones,” says Sonja. “This is the way it has always been - breath and body moving to the rhythm of nature. Consider this class an invitation to come home to yourself. “
Sessions take place on the clover lawn beside the great oak tree. In case of inclement weather we move into the Workshop space. On occasion our yoga sessions will be covered by much loved local yoga teacher, Abby Faye.
What to bring:
Please bring a yoga mat - you may wish to bring a large towel beneath the mat if you would rather it stay spotlessly clean.
Please bring water and cozy socks, a jumper and blanket to ensure you are warm for the closing relaxation.
Please wear any clothes you feel comfortable moving in.
